Good afternoon EEC Parents!
We are ready for the start of the new school year. Classrooms are cleaned, organized, and ready for your children. We (the staff) have had time to get to know our new classroom partners, welcome new staff (email forthcoming), and prepare for the new school year. Everyone should receive an email from their children’s classroom today with classroom specific information.
We will spend the first month getting to know your children. Lesson plans will be fairly generic, so that we can spend time finding out children’s needs, wants, interests, and plan for their goals.
On Wednesday, September 21st we will be having a Back to School BBQ. It will start at 5:30pm. Our PreK 3 and PreK 4 classrooms will have back to school night at 6:30pm inside the classrooms. One parent is permitted to attend so that we are not overcrowded.
A few reminders:
EEC is one way in and one way out.
Sign your child in and out. Any QR code in the building works to do this.
Have your key-fob ready for pick up.
Drop off time is 7:15am, Pick up time is 5:30pm
Any children remaining after 5:45pm will incur a late fee.
If your child will be absent please let us know via email or BrightWheel.
If someone who typically does not pick up will be picking up they need to bring an ID and we need prior notice.
Lunches should be packed in containers that children can eat out of
Please make sure everything is labeled: extra clothes, nap items, food items, water cups, etc.
All children that are walking need shoes to go outside; and children currently in Toddler Room 5 or older need boots. We go outside as much as possible!
